Adjustment Of Magneto Chain

Loosen the bolts which hold the magneto platform to the rear engine plates and slide the magneto towards the rear of the machine until the correct tension on the chain is obtained. Re-tighten the bolts and check the setting of the chain. There should be about 3/8" side movement between the sprockets on one run of the chain. Always check in several different positions so as to obtain the correct tension in the tightest place.
