Adjusting Rear Chain
Slacken the rear spindle nuts a little and loosen brake anchor pin. Turn the adjusting screws equally on each side until the chain has about ½" up and down play midway between the sprockets. It is important to keep the rear wheel in line with the front, and turning the screws equally will ensure this. A check can be made by using a string across the two wheels. Still better is a straight edge.
