  6. In Conclusion

Should any difficulty arise that cannot be overcome by following the advice given in this book, the help of the nearest Velocette Service Agent should be obtained. Alternatively we are always willing to answer any enquiries relating to the machine. All requests for advice, however, must include the full engine number (including all letters in it).

It is always better to get expert advice before attempting adjustments, etc., if the cause of the trouble is not fully understood or if the appropriate remedy is not known, as unskilled attention may be detrimental.

N.B. — Many machines are supplied finished in colour. If it is necessary to order enamelled parts therefore always mention the colour in addition to quoting the engine number (do not omit prefix letters).
